edit: I NOW HAVE A SLIGHT IDEA WHAT I'M DOING HERE she's summonable as either Berserker or Assassin, pick your poison. Berserker is mostly mute but not too crazy (unless you count nearly compulsive defiance against everything) and stupid OP if you can power her; Assassin is less unpredictable but mouthy as fuck and nowhere near as strong.

and then all at once, his stance loosens, some warmth fills his eyes, and his breathing gets a little louder. He's more of a person now, more than the blank, unfeeling weapon he was a moment ago. ]

[ she doesn't quite startle as badly as before, but she does visibly tense up in alarm. it isn't something the average person would catch, but Bucky obviously wouldn't be an average person even if he weren't a Servant. ]

[ He raises his hands up. ]

I'm not going to hurt you. I'm your Servant. And anyway, it shouldn't come up unless we're fighting someone.

That isn't...

[ looks torn between indignation and baffled confusion at the reassurance, but shakes her head ]

...we're going to be fighting, so it will come up.

I figured that's why you summoned me.

[ A smile flickers briefly on his face. ]

Just give me orders and I'll comply.

[ It's not that he likes what he's like when the Winter Soldier takes over, but he knows what he's good for. ]

[ frowns, slightly— but at least the intent look she's giving him isn't the scared-cat one, even if it's distinctly less readable as a result. after a moment she sidles over to what he might have initially mistaken for a pile of trash and folds herself down into it, revealing it to be blankets in varying levels of terrible shape. ]

And if you aren't given orders?

[ He shrugs slightly. ]

I'll be on standby. I'm only dangerous to my targets.

[ Or I mean, he'll go totally off the rails if anyone bears a strong enough resemblance to Steve Rogers, but he's pretty sure that won't come up. ]

I more meant in the sense of not doing anything you aren't ordered to.

[ she feels foolish saying it out loud, particularly now that he's being so... warm, but. she'd read enough stories involving summoning other sorts of creatures and the rules lawyering that some of them pulled. ]

...I'll speak frankly: I have very little idea of what I'm doing, what you're capable of, and what tactics to expect from... our opposition. I summoned you anyway because I quite literally had nothing to lose by doing so.

[ which he might have guessed from the state of where he'd been summoned: an abandoned building of some sort, run down with boarded up windows and no belongings to speak of visible aside from that blanketpile and a beat-up duffel bag. ]

If I'm not given orders, I won't do anything at all.

[ He shrugs slightly. ]

As for what I can do... Sniping is my specialty, but I'm also proficient in any range of guns as well as knife and hand-to-hand combat. I can pretty much handle whatever the opposition tries to throw at us.

[ she glances at his arm when he confirms her suspicions, but it's thoughtful rather than anything else— at least until he mentions the guns. then she tenses right back up, looking away

I would prefer handling things in such a way that the opposition doesn't have a chance to throw anything at us at all.
