The first person to be simply, unconditionally kind to Lilith since her love died. Is unfairly good at finding ways to fluster her, largely by being aggressively charming. A little rough around the edges, but seems to be one of those very few genuinely good people, and therefore is to be protected at all costs. First kiss, first person to make love to her. Lilith is absolutely infatuated with him. She's trying very hard not to think about this— specifically as to how to reconcile it against the fact that she's still very much in love with her dead girlfriend. Precious cinnamon roll, too good, too pure for this (under)world. Skittish, poorly socialized, and incredibly brave and earnest despite that (in a quiet sort of way). Communicating with him is frequently something of a comedy (or tragedy...) of errors, but she's starting to get the hang of it. ...She thinks. She's incredibly fond and protective of him; he's one of the few other people she feels understands what it's like to be systematically rejected, from his behavior, and it's an immense relief to not be alone in that. Polite, respectful, and friendly, but... seems a little off-putting, somehow... Mainly in that while xe doesn't cross boundaries xe does seem to enjoy running up against them and seeing how much of xyr weight they'll take, and invites the same sort of behavior. That's still more than Lilith is used to, though, so she cautiously likes xem, even if her first impulse is to try to keep xem at arm's length at all times. Another grounding influence. Seems even-tempered, or at least very patient; Lilith trusts him in general and thinks of him as both fair and honest (insert laughtrack from those who know what Lethe was like when he still had memories). Feels Jekyll's eyes should be brown, he is so full of shit. Amazing. Strongly dislikes him on account of the fact that he keeps hurting her people (Bucky, Poe, Lethe), but at the same time... she's starting to see hints of behavior that are unsettlingly familiar, because they're things she's done herself. At the moment, she's not sure where she stands on him. ...Or on the fact that he bit her mouth and neck in the process of kissing her and she liked it. What.
